The Kambi Ya Tembo is a small luxury tented camp with stunning views of Mt. Kilimanjaro. We will have an opportunity to make a difference in the lives of the Maasai families, providing much needed medical screenings as we get to know the mothers, fathers, brothers, and sisters. We will learn about their day-to-day lives tending cattle and fetching water, yes, most of this is done by the women and children. Other activities include early morning/evening game drive, bird watching, and walking safari escorted by our very own Maasai warrior.

Thursday – June 10: Depart from west Kilimanjaro by way of the Maasai market and then on to the Arusha Hotel, where we will stay overnight.
